Emily Mathis is a fourth-year doctoral student in School Psychology at Mississippi State University and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mathis holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Mississippi College. Mathis joined BAAMS in 2015 and served on the 2018 BAAMS conference committee. Currently, Mathis holds the position of student representative to both BAAMS and BSPIG. Her research interests include designing effective behavioral interventions, CHARGE syndrome, and sexuality education for individuals with disabilities. Presently, Mathis is a graduate assistant and clinical coordinator for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic at Mississippi State University.
